Somercom was founded in Sicily in 1997 by the experience of Nicola and Leonardo Borelli in the field of raw materials and semi-finished products intended exclusively for the food sector, both industrial and artisanal.
We are the only point of reference in our area truly focused on food sector applications, and we are able to guide the client from product design to the creation of finished products.

1997

We Start!

Somercom begins its activity in July 1997, stemming from the twenty-year experience of Leonardo and Nicola BORELLI in the field of distribution of raw materials, ingredients, semi-finished products, and chemical products for the food, industrial, and artisanal sectors.

2003

We Build!

We purchased new offices in Viagrande (Catania) with 16 workstations and implemented hardware and software systems. We computerized the management of the outsourced warehouse and doubled the logistics capacity for precise and secure management up to the shelf of the finished product.

2018

We Grow!

With a focus on customer investment, we improve the quality of our commercial offering. A dedicated function for selling quality products and providing technical consulting coordinates with the company organization, facilitating the necessary evolution in a competitive context.
